The 18M meeting of the project took place in the premises of SP Trätek in Stockholm (Sweden), and it was attended by partners from Research Centres Lurederra (Coordinator), FORTH ICE/HT, SP Trätek and IPF, and also from SMEs Ochoa Maquinaria, Ingarp and Loufakis. In addition partner PR Eurochem connected to the meeting via Skype.

Members from partner IPF presented a poster of Wood-FlaretCoat project during the 31st International Conference of the Polymer Processing Society, which took part from 7th to 11th June 2015 in Jeju City, South Corea.

The 12M meeting of the project Wood-FlaretCoat took place in the premises of the Research Executive Agency (REA) in Brussels (Belgium) on December 11th 2014.
It was attended by partners from Research Centres LUREDERRA (Coordinator), FORTH ICE/HT, SP TRÄTEK and IPF, and also from SMEs PR EUROCHEM and HUMICHEM.

During this meeting activities carried out so far were explained and activities to be performed in the following months were planned. Also issues related to dissemination and financial aspects were treated during the meeting.

From 4th to 6th December 2014 members of FORTH ICE/HT attended the 10th Hellenic Polymer Society Conference in Rio-Patras, Greece, in which V.T. Koukoumtzis, G.Ch. Lainioti, G.A. Voyiatzis and J.K. Kallitsis, presented Flame-retardant coatings based on magnesium hydroxide and phosphorus compounds for wood applications, in the frame of the Project Wood-FlaretCoat.

Members of partners Lurederra and Humichem attended to the 5th International Forum on architecture and wood construction EGURTEK, which took place during the days 2 and 3 of October 2014 in the city of Bilbao.

From 8th to 11th July 2014 By G. Bounos, K.S. Andrikopoulos, Th. Ioannides, G.A. Voyiatzis, representatives from Greek partner FORTH ICE/HT attended the International Conference on Nanosciences and Nanotechnologies, in which they talked about Inorganic Flame-Retardant Nano-Fillers for Improved Wood products’ Coatings, in the frame of the Wood-FlaretCoat project.

The Kick-off meeting of the project Wood-FlaretCoat took place in the premises of FORTH ICE/HT in Patras (Greece) on June 24th 2014.
It was attended by partners from Research Centres L’Urederra (Coordinator), FORTH ICE/HT, SP Trätek and IPF, and also from SMEs PR Eurochem and Loufakis Chemicals.
During this meeting activities carried out so far were explained and activities to be performed in the following months were planned. Also issues related to dissemination and financial aspects were treated during the meeting.

The first follow-up meeting of the project Wood-FlaretCoat will take place in the premises of FORTH-ICE/HT, in PATRAS (GREECE) on June 24th 2014

It was attended by representatives of partners FORTH/ ICE-HT (Greece), IPF (Germany) SP Tratëk (Sweden), Humichem (Spain) and L’Urederra (Spain). Partner PR Eurochem (Ireland) took part in the meeting by videoconference.

During this meeting an overview of the working plan was presented and activities to be performed in the next six months were planned.
